Miniature World

Welcome to my Miniature World

To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure how to begin this page. There is so much I would like to share, because this miniature world has become more than a creative project—it has become a way to express who I am.

My journey as an entrepreneur has not been a straight line. It has been winding, filled with unexpected turns, challenges, and discoveries. Yet somehow, it has always led me back to my roots and to the things I love most: creating with my hands and telling stories through handmade objects.

Over the years, I have explored many different crafts, including sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, and needle painting. Then one day I discovered micro crochet, and it was love at first sight. Through my creations, I have always expressed the things that inspire me: nature, vintage charm, and memories of my hometown.

For many years, I focused mainly on micro crochet jewellery and wearable art. When I attended handmade markets, I often displayed small crocheted decorative pieces alongside my jewellery. Visitors would ask if these tiny items were for sale because they would fit perfectly in their Wichtelhaus (elf house, elf door for christmas). Curious, I went home and started researching—and in doing so, I discovered an entirely new world: the world of miniatures.

The more I learned, the more I found myself imagining what my own miniature world might look like. That curiosity soon became a dream, and that dream became this new chapter of Lalio Atelier.

First miniature kitchen from the Lalio Atelier miniature world

This miniature world is shaped by different cultures, memories, traditions, and the small moments that make a house feel like home.

I chose to begin with the kitchen because it represents warmth, comfort, and the simple rituals that make a house feel like home.

The idea of a miniature kitchen captured my imagination. It became a space where I could recreate the atmosphere of slow mornings, fresh baking, and shared moments around the table.

This miniature kitchen is not a replica of my own home. In many ways, it is closer to the kitchen I dream of—a place filled with light, handmade details, and the joy of everyday life.

For me, creating miniatures is not about reproducing reality exactly as it is. It is about capturing feelings, memories, and the small moments that make a place special.

Over time, new rooms, scenes, and stories will gradually appear. This is not a world that will be built overnight, but one that will grow slowly, stitch by stitch, detail by detail.

I invite you to follow the journey, discover each new chapter, and watch this miniature world come to life.
